A lot of men are trying to find ways to talk to women that allows them to come across as cool and attractive. It is actually pretty easy if you quit doing all the normal, things men do that just turn girls off.
Here is my tips on how to talk to girls:
Don’t rely on pick up lines. These are just plain horrible. Men just memorize this junk when they don’t care enough to actually say something authentic to the woman. You come across just as dashing a bum on the street asking for a handout. “Spare a buck or two?” Does that make you feel like sitting down and meeting someone new? I didn’t think so.
Also don’t try to impress her with your fancy job title, new sports car, or any of your other worthless toys. You’re starting everything off by treating her as someone you need to impress, which isn’t going to get you very far at all. You are going in with the belief that the woman should see you as less than her. If you have a little brother or sister that was always trying to impress you and your friends growing up, you know how pestering that can be. Not seductive.
While we’re at it, don’t get hung up on the woman’s looks. She likely hears it often. But then, I don’t need to warn you about judging books by their covers, do I?
Great, so we’ve gone over what not to do. Here is what you should do when you talk to women.
Come up to her like you would anyone else and just make sure you have a good time. See her as someone equal to you. Some dating coaches out there recommend that you act like you’re above the woman. I’m not one of these guys. If you’re not careful you may just come off as a jerk. That’s not me, but it would put you in better standing than the men that make the mistakes mentioned above.
If you see a girl as your equal, you don’t feel the need to impress her with all your achievements. You just have fun and share a good time. Okay, so she’s really sexy but that doesn’t mean you have to drool all over her.
Remember she is an actual person that has her own fantasies and fears. She has nightmares from time to time. Once you start to really get this stuff, you never have to worry about coming across as creepy again. Plus, the odds will be much more in your favor that the woman will actually feel attracted to you.
The core here is to not put the girl up on a pedestal. As long as you approach her as someone you need to impress, you’ll be blown out before you even introduce yourself. Talking to women isn’t hard. Just go up to the woman like you would anyone else.
